Just passing through and luckily found the Brass Kettle Family Restaurant. One of the best hamburgers I have ever had. The french fries were awesome dipped in their ranch dressing.

It's just a great place with really good food. Great service and the feel of a down home country restaurant, right in the middle of town. I meet my son there for brunch between his college classes on my day off, it's perfect for catching up and enjoying a great meal.

We went on a Wednesday late morning. It wasn't too busy, sat down right away. Fast, friendly service. The food was delicious and the coffee was on point. I'm picky with my coffee and was expecting it to taste like ashtray old, but to my surprise, it had a freshly brewed taste. Not too strong not too weak. Just right.Prices were good too. We will definitely keep going back.

A bit dated but food is great. The usual American style breakfast but portions are generous and the food is really good. Staff is friendly and service was good. Recommended if you want to try something other than the usual chain restaurants.

Wonderful place for breakfast. Family business is well run, food has always been excellent. Usually no long wait for table even on Saturday morning. Staff does not rush you, very attentive, extremely courteous, patient. I highly recommend. Have only eaten breakfast there (many times) but I would suspect lunch is equally as good as breakfast.

Service was a little slow to take our order. When you have to tell the guy refilling your coffee that you are ready for your order to be taken, that's a little too long to wait. Food was good and thankfully so was the coffee.

They have pretty good food an Customer Service an Freshness. I think if they had longer hours they be just as great . However the owner knows his Business better then anyone else . That's why he's been the owner this long . Also why he's still in Business which is tough for real Restaurant's now a days. It takes allot of work keeping up with all the things involved . Including staff food property taxes and Business license and all the planning and dealing with Customer, Family, Friends ,an Atmosphere of what the business always needs an keeping it all together and real an ready for anyone who walks in making the trip Satisfieing. Job well done an God's blessings to you and your family an STAFF.

Today myself and my lady went to eat breakfast. I ordered hamburger steak and eggs and grits. My hamburger steak, had a long hair in it, so my lady asked for the steak to be taken away. I finished, my eggs and grits but never touch the rest of the steak. We asked the waitress to comp our meal or for the meal to be free. The waitress, took 10% of our meal, and my but we feel the meal should have been free..

The brass kettle is one of my family's favorite places in town to get breakfast. Love their eggs over medium, bacon, hashbrowns lite, and buttered toast. They also have the best tasting decaf coffee.Staff is always friendly and just great people. Been going there since I was a kid in the 80s.Love it.

Always get beef quesadilla... This is THE BEST quesadilla in NC!... Yummy! Great waitresses! Little grill feel... But ALWAYS VERY good food...

If you're looking for god food for a good price, look no further.If you're lookg for amazing customer service, go elsewhere. Bare minimum for customer service. Asked for utensils. Had the waitress told me she had to find some, rather than walking off, i would not have had to ask another person after five minutes. Max table size is for four people. Could benefit from a larger table.

Caramel pecan waffles absolutely delightful and not over the top sweet. Good southern breakfast just like home. The interior needs to be updated but the food and staff are excellent.

Their claim to fame is breakfast. As for the evening they are only open Wed. Thur & Friday. I was in the mood for breakfast at 4PM, part because I had not had breakfast today. No problem for them. The food came out fast and was good. It is not a fancy decor, just like a small town dinner lost a little in time. They played classic rock and the wife makes different desert on a regular basis. Last week she made a double walnut apple dessert and this week it is banana cake with homemade chocolate frosting. They have been locally owned and operated for 2 generations and the waitress says the younger daughter started working her so it may make it to 3 generations. Shirley was my waitress and provided great service.

The staff treats me like family. I like to sit at the counter and talk with the locals, everyone is friendly. I also like local businesses, apparently this restaurant has been in the same family for several generations. And oh yeah, the food is good too. Prepared to order. My favorites are the 222 and the Philly Omelette. Good home fries.
